The Orianne Center for Indigo Conservation, Herpetarium and Quarantine Buildings are the first phase of a four-building wildlife and rare species research and vet sciences laboratory complex adjacent to Seminole State Forest in rural Lake County. We completed the first two buildings in October of 2011 and the next two are scheduled for summer of 2012. The project consists of a 2,5000 s.f. Herpetarium Building and a 1,575 s.f. Quarantine Building, which are used as a laboratory and rehabilitation space for rare species. The clean room type environment is completely epoxy finished wet-space throughout, sinks, tables and other equipment. Construction is reinforced CMU with exterior lap siding, storefront-type ribbon windows, storefront entries and a heavy duty standing seam roof system.
