Evergreen provided construction management services to owner Central Florida Health Alliance for ground up construction of a 20,000 s.f. Urgent Care Center and replacement administration offices for Leesburg Regional Medical Center, built on the existing campus of LRMC. Included in the project was demolition of the existing buildings on the site, relocation of critical medical gas tanks and piping to other buildings and relocation of emergency generator. The project, also a hurricane shelter, includes its own chiller plant, generator and emergency power and underwent extensive value engineering, which reduced the cost by $400,000 from the original design. The project was completed under budget and one month ahead of schedule in May 2014.
